South Wales Police wins the Queens Award for Innovation in Police Training

Simulation has proven to provide better training at reduced cost

Gareth Morgan of SWP said "By analysing certain driving characteristics in the simulator we are able to see very quickly if a driver meets occupational standards or if some specific aspects need refresher training. The simulator has saved costs of unnecessary training time as well as vehicle running and repair costs. We can use it 24 hours/day in all weathers and ensure that specific events occur during the exercises"
